TMSUK, a robot developer introduced a brand new remote-control robot which offers a new way to shop - from the comfort of your home, that is. This telerobotic shopper is a modified TMSUK-4 humanoid robot that boasts different cell phone communications technology, enabling you to move it around from your handset without having to step out from the home. Of course, the whole idea is pretty novel, but it does detract from the experience of picking up and choosing your own fresh produce. In addition, won’t it be much easier to just go through an online shopping cart instead? I suppose the novelty will wear thin after a while, and you might actually spend less time driving to the mall, picking up the groceries, checking out, and heading back home compared to just trying to manouevre the robot around.

Rumors abound concerning the Sony Vaio Z series, but all of those were put to rest as photos of the notebooks’ were leaked via pamphlets. Depending on the model you pick, resolution will hit 1,600 x 900 for the high-end model compared to 1,366 x 768. Of course, the better the computer, the more memory it has - case in point 4GB of RAM in the top-of-the-line model and half the amount for the rest. All the laptops will feature full High Definition with HDMI connectors, WiFi connectivity, gigabit Ethernet, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, and an ExpressCard slot.

OCZ expands its gaming line with the Elixir keyboard to help you gain that extra edge over your opponents in the frantic world of gaming. It comes in an ergonomic and sturdy design to withstand hours of non-stop play while minimizing the risk of injury to your digits, while relevant gaming-centric features such as 10 tri-mode programmable macro keys, mode selection, a pop-up menu shortcut, and Windows Media Players optical controller make it much more functional compared to a vanilla 101-key keyboard. All keys are 100% rubber-coated to ensure you won’t slip up during a crucial moment, but I would have liked to see a slightly higher premium compared to the $29.99 price tag to place it on par with other gaming keyboards.

Here’s an image of the upcoming Sony Ericsson W902, and it has been given the official name “Patty”. Judging by the images from the source, the W902 will feature a 5 megapixel autofocus camera module complete with a PhotoFlash LED. Nice to see a Walkman-based phone with an above average camera from Sony Ericsson - no point in segregating them into Walkman and CyberShot camps, IMHO. I can’t wait for this handset to be released as soon as possible and would love to wrap my fingers around one.

Wazakura Koubou from Japan will be rolling out two new gold-plated computer keyboards for folks who have way too much dough in their bank accounts. After all, if you’re running broke, you can always head towards the pawn shop with these, I’m sure the owner would be more than happy to take them in in exchange for some cash. These keyboards come with a couple of USB hubs and are plated with 99.99% pure gold, where the Kagayaki retails for $270 while the Kirameki model is relatively more affordable at $217.

I’ve read stories of old concerning the millionaires of yore (back in the days where a million dollars was actually worth something, and you could get a decent meal for a couple of pennies) burning their money just to light a cigar, which went to prove just how obscenely wealthy they were. Well, you could revisit those moments using a proxy in the form of the Money-to-Burn Fire Starters. They will retail for $13 for a half dozen money rolls, and it would be best to bring this to a crowded barbecue if you want to impress folk with your faux riches.

Microsoft’s latest move in introducing a price cut for its Xbox 360 console has not fazed Sony, as the Japanese electronics giant won’t budge from their current price structure, at least for the forseeable future. After all, with Metal Gear Solid 4 having been released recently, people who want to play that game and do not yet have that console will no doubt make a beeline to counters and fork out that extra bit of dough.

Brando has made available the USB 2.5-inch IDE/SATA Bridge Adapter which is pretty much self-explanatory - it forms a bridge between a USB port and one IDE, SATA or CompactFlash memory card slot. This means and standard SATA or IDE hard drive will be able to function as an imprompty external drive whenever you need it to, just make sure that it is properly formatted beforehand. It will retail for $22 and works with both Mac and Windows platforms.

Feeling frustrated? Well, let it all out with a nice, long scream at the top of your lungs, and you don’t even need to travel to the Grand Canyon to do so as long as you have the Shouting Vase. This plastic jug apparently was specially designed in such a manner that it fits over the contours of your mouth, absorbing whatever screams that come out from there. Works much better than a pillow, and you won’t be accused of sleeping on the job should you decide to bring this to the office either. It will cost you $79, however, but that’s a small price to pay considering you can now scream wherever, whenever, as loud as you like.
