The R9 Power Racer pays tribute to Maxon, boasting a Maxon-themed body, a couple of huge cylinders and a look that isn’t too far away from the future. This motorbike shares many qualities with Maxon’s recently updated Cinema 4D Release 9, including innovation, power, speed, easy usage, agility and fun. I wonder what kind of license is required to ride this mean bike, and will it be able to overtake the Batpod at a twist of the wrist?

Mindset AG from Switzerland has plans to develop an ultra-lightweight hybrid vehicle that boasts roof-mounted solar panels. Currently in the prototype stage, this car tips the scales at approximately 800 kg and measures 4.2m long. It boasts a stunning design consisting of front circular headlights that seem to hark back to the 1960s, but you do get roof-equipped solar panels (hmmm, sounds pretty much like the third generation Prius that is in the works as well) that will juice up the lithium-ion batteries to provide up to a 100km range with each charge. Gotta love the retro gullwing doors that have been missing from cars for a long time now. Mindset AG is looking at 10,000 units come 2009 - is your bank account ready to part with $78,000?

The Nokia Evolve targets consumers who want an environmentally sensitive, easy-to-use phone, with an average feature set. Thanks to its focus on its (somewhat) eco-friendly materials, the Nokia Evolve 3110 might just fit the bill. Not surprisingly, it has basic features such Camera, 2.5G, FM Radio and Micro-SD memory card. That all work fairly well, especially the FM radio. The user interface is simple as other popular Nokia entry-level phones and we expect users to find their marks quickly. There’s one thing however that we found particularly annoying: There’s (apparently) no way to prevent the keyboard from locking itself after 3.5s of inactivity. The bottom-line is that you would probably pick this one up because it’s eco-friendly - it’s hard to see another reason to get one.

Asus is offering a $100 rebate for folks who have picked up an Eee PC 900 between today and July 31st, but this offer is good only from participating retailers such as Amazon and ZaReason. The whole point to this exercise is the inclusion of Intel’s new Atom processor in the Eee PC 900 that replaces the previous Intel Celeron 900MHz processor. So how does a $449 Eee PC 900 sound to you, considering the fact that it has been around only for a few months before experiencing a (nearly) 20% price cut? After all, the Celeron chip is decent enough to run basic office tasks like word processing and number crunching with the occasional Web-based game thrown in.

Everybody loves to pop bubble wrap; some even say that it’s a great stress reliever. Here’s one bubble wrap that users won’t be too hasty to pop. This latest Bubble Wrap Calendar expects users to exercise self control and only pop a bubble a day. It may not be the most hi-tech gadget on the planet, but it’s still simple and cool. This fun calendar costs about $30.

Certified Wireless USB devices require a handshaking protocol as they cannot be paired through a USB cable as found on their wired counterparts, and those dealing with a screen can do this through a graphical interface. WiQuest aims to make the entire experience easier with a new PIN association method. This offers enterprise-level security by assigning the user with a special character key or PIN (up to 28 characters long) to each WUSB device. After the wireless association process kicks in, the PC’s software will prompt for the same PIN, and entering the right code will complete the secure pairing.
