ASUS’ new ARES CG6155 desktop PC is finally unveiled, and the exterior design is something worth drooling over. Of course, this is one machine where the external looks match the quality of the parts inside, including quad-core processors, 3-way SLI graphic cards as well as factory overclocking that boosts CPU performance by up to 33%. In addition, you will find a Blu-ray optical disc drive for your high definition needs, high-definition audio and DDR3 memory for superior performance. Definitely a gamer’s dream IMHO, but chances are you will have to break the bank to bring one of these puppies home.

Apple’s iTunes marketplace has achieved its latest milestone, smashing the 5 billion songs mark - just four months after it surpassed the 4 billion songs in terms of sales. This is definitely a phenomenal achievement, adding more weight to the argument that traditional CDs are definitely on the wane, and artists who want to make money had best hop onto the digital virtual bandwagon instead of relying on record sales at stores. This huge shift in sales is also attributed to the phenomenal success of the iPod from Apple. The 5 billion mark was reached after the iTunes store opened for business back in 2003 - who wants to wager when the 10th billion song will be sold? Sometime in 2009?

That’s one feature that other GPS will have a hard time to mimic: Mio has the license to use KITT’s voice. As you can see, the GPS body itself is designed with the Knight Rider theme, thanks to the LED on each side of the screen. Other than that, it is technically very similar to the more recent Mio PGS (read review). For $270, it’ll bring you as close as being “Michael” than you could be

The unnamed mini-desktop from Dell has been given a name - the Studio Hybrid. Engadget has an exclusive leaked image, and we can tell that it comes with a color wrap-around Plexiglas shell. Other than that, since there is no way to check out the innards, it is still unconfirmed whether the Studio Hybrid is powered by an Intel Atom or Core 2 chipset. What we do know is, this system will feature video support for HDMI video out as well as 4GB RAM and Wi-Fi connectivity. There is no concrete pricing details out yet, but some numbers bandied around range from $500 to $700 as it is released before the year is over.

Salesmen making their pitch with the traditional pen-and-paper method are outdated - in this digital age, business deals are sealed over a satisfying computer presentation. The Prezenter PSR dual-display tablet PC brings the best of both worlds, with a device that has the larger display facing your audience while you get the smaller 7″ touch screen that folds down on the other side. In that limited space, you get to doodle and circle your main points, and those will appear for the audience to see, creating a much more interactive sales pitch. Other features include :- AMD Geode LX800 processor512MB RAM80GB hard drive1.3 megapixel webcamWi-Fi connectivityThe Prezenter PSR will retail for a rather steep $1,800 - I don’t see this getting too popular anytime soon.

Huawei lays claim to the world’s slimmest HSPA USB stick modem - the e180. This diminutive device measures a mere 10mm thin, and is capable of supporting both HSPA/UMTS and GSM/GPRS/EDGE network technologies. This translates to superior uplink speed rates of up to 5.76Mbps and a downlink of up to 7.2 Mbps. Features include a rotatable USB connector, making it the perfect plug-and-play device for mobile broadband users. Since the USB connector can be turned around, you don’t have to worry about losing a cover while keeping the connector protected. Interestingly enough, the E180 is also equipped with a microSD memory card slot that can support up to 8GB of additional memory, turning this into an impromptu USB flash drive.
