Strange to see a product that has not yet been released in the market to announce drivers for it, and this is what happened to Everex’s Cloudbook. Paul Kim, the Director of Marketing for Everex recently confirmed that Windows XP drivers will be posted on the company website soon. Anyone picking this up when it is readily available at retail stores? I’d much rather see the Cloudbook in the flesh first before getting news about its drivers - seems to me as though they’re putting the cart before the horse.

This wooden phone charm is not there to decorate your phone only - instead, it is actually a tiny speaker that can also be hooked up to other portable electronics such as an MP3 player, iPod, or even DS. The sound quality is supposed to be loud and clear according to the product change, but I’d take that claim with a couple of grains of salt. It is powered by your electronic device of choice the moment it is plugged in, so don’t expect battery performance to remain the same. It retails for approximately $47 - pretty expensive for a tiny speaker if you ask me.

Verizon will be getting the Motorola W755 in a few months’ time, so if you’re in the market for a new clamshell handset then, why not check out what it looks like before arriving at a decision? Looks like a prima donna for fingerprints though, glossy exterior and all. There will be five themes to choose from - Classic, Youth, Personalizer, Messenger and Vapor.

Looks like it didn’t take too long for the En-Tech Vibe NVE-100 earphones to arrive Stateside from Korea, appearing on ThinkGeek slightly over a month after the Korean release. Well, at least we don’t have hand-drawn designs to refer to this time, with images of the actual product being readily available. Named as the Vibe Body Sound earphones, you get a pair of headphones that are clipped onto your outer ear. Sound reaches your eardrum thanks to the Vibe Body Sound earphones that conduct vibrations through your skin and cartilage, sending audio straight to your skull’s inner ear for crystal clear audio. All this without remaining deaf to what’s going on around you - neat eh? It costs one Benjamin to pick this up.

I suppose it is a very sad day should the above actually happen - it would somewhat be akin to McDonald’s selling off their burger business just to concentrate on desserts like ice cream and apple pie. This could end up to be true though, considering how Motorola’s stock has plummeted with a rapidly declining market share. I suppose that’s what happens when you come up with a killer design like the RAZR, but remain uninspired throughout subsequent models. That kinda sucks as more competition would always be good for the consumers.

Sanyo W62SA Spa Phone A Spa phone? What’s the world coming to these days? Well, this handset claims to offer users with a series of relaxing lights and sounds to help one unwind after a particularly long day at work. Heck, it was even constructed to be waterproof, allowing you to bring this relaxing piece of tech into the bathroom as you melt the day’s woes away. I would suggest taking your SIM card out of it when you do that though, as you wouldn’t want to ruin your Zen moment with another call from the office. Other specifications of the Sanyo W62SA Spa phone are :- 2 megapixel cameraFM transmitterGPS navigationmicroSD memory card slot2.8″ color LCD display

Looks like folks who are signing up with 3’s mobile broadband service will be getting a free laptop as well, although don’t expect the latest and greatest model but instead one that does basic tasks just fine, i.e. surfing the Net, churning out some documents and making the occassional PowerPoint presentation. Unfortunately, the £350 will only land in your lap if you sell your soul to 3 for 18 months at £35 monthly. The USB dongle offers 2.8Mbps HSDPA connectivity with a maximum data allowance of 3GB and 200 texts per month. Anyone would like to see an offer like this Stateside?
