If you have trouble finding your way around, perhaps it is time to invest in a GPS navigation system. The Panasonic CN-MP50D GPS system isn’t any good in the US though, as its 2GB SD card comes pre-loaded with essential phone numbers and map information of 10 million points of interest in Japan. It will hit the Japanese market this February 12th for approximately $650 after conversion. Strange thing it lacks audio and video playback though - that’s like taking a few steps backwards compared to other GPS systems these days that seem to function more and more like PMPs. No idea if it will ever make it Stateside, but keep yourself occupied with the specifications below in the meantime. Spending some time with your loved one under the moonlight can be very romantic, and these Moonlight Speakers help to usher in the loving feeling by concealing speakers which are capable of handling anywhere from 120 to 200 watts of amplification. These speakers also project sound in a 360-degree dispersion pattern, which means you get to listen to great sounding audio no matter where you’re standing. The party animals among you will love the color-changing LED bulb that add variety, while the durable weatherproof polyethelene shell used to make the globes are perfect for outdoor use. The Moonlight Speakers target nightclubs, but those with really large mansions might want to experiment by installing one of these at home.

The latest in wearable tech from the Siggraph Fashion Show. A mini dress that can recharge your iPod.

‘The Day for Night: Modular Extensible Reconfigurable’ is a dress made completely out of circuit boards and solar cells. I guess having a long name makes up for being incredibly short. The mini dress is made over 400 little circuit board, some of which contain solar cells. The dresses software can be updated and it also has an RF transmitter so you can send signals to your laptop. I have no idea what you’d be sending other news of severe chaffing.
Wearable tech is quickly becoming popular, and in some cases actually usable. There are a number of backpacks
with solar cells on them that provide very usable recharging power for iPods and phones. As for this little dress I’m just left wondering - where do you carry your iPod?

Not only is the Trev a green car (literally), it also helps keep the earth clean by running on a 7kWh 44kg lithium ion polymer battery. Don’t scoff at the Trev, as it can hit 100kph from a standstill in 10 seconds, with a top speed of 120kph. A full charge will provide a maximum running range of 150km. How much damage does it do to your wallet when you try to recharge it? Not much actually - just AUD$1 per 100 km, which is dirt cheap. Families can forget about this as the Trev is definitely no people mover, but meant for yuppies to impress their potential mates and just enough room at the back to throw a briefcase or two inside.
