Purpose For Pets Portable Extractor

Purpose For Pets Portable ExtractorThe weirdly named Purpose For Pets Portable Extractor from Dirt Devil is a boon for all pet owners worldwide - it comes with a 3″ scrub brush and integrated LEDs that help illuminate stains which let out a stench and yet is invisible to the naked eye. The inclusion of a 56 oz. on-board tank comes in handy since the stain/odor removing solution inside works great when you want to rid your pad of these invisible but smelly pet stains. Sounds like the perfect device to get for those living in small apartments, especially with the holiday season coming up and you having to entertain guests more frequently than not. As for those with large homes - just let your pet stay outside and you’ll never need this. The Purpose For Pets Portable Extractor can be picked up for $99.99.

Uzu Cyclone vacuum

Uzu Cyclone vacuumThe Uzu Cyclone vacuum, designed be Chiaki Murata is not only pleasant to look at, it is extremely lightweight and easy to use. Oh yeah, did we mention that it is cordless as well? This means whenever you drop your box of donuts on the floor, there is no need to sweep the crumbs away - just use the Uzu Cyclone vacuum and you’re good to go. Since it is rechargeable, that means there aren’t any wires to contend with. The Uzu is available for Japanese customers only, and it retails for $398. I guess when you live in a crammed space such as those apartments found in Japan, it doesn’t really matter whether the vacuum is cordless or not.

Lotus Sanitizing System

Lotus Sanitizing System The Lotus Sanitizing System claims to be able to clean and sterilize just about anything after using electrons infused with tap water along with “super-oxygen” for the ultimate cleaning solution which is touted to be 50% stronger than bleach. The entire system comes with a base unit that creates electrical storms in the water, while a spray bottle attached to the unit helps create the super-cleaning solution that can find use just about anywhere in your home. A bowl is also thrown in with each $170 purchase, allowing you to make sure your fruits and vegetables are stripped completely off nasty pesticides before consumption. I wonder what happens when I have a bad cold and drink down this “super water” - will I get cured instantly?

Pyxis GPS Watch

Pyxis GPS WatchWestech Korea has just launched its Pyxis GPS watch that comes completed with databases of different exercise routines such as marathons, hikes and walks. You’ll be able to view these courses from your wrist and plan a schedule in advance. This GPS watch displays various information like elapsed time, speed, distance and consumed calories while you exercise. You can even save the nitty gritty details on each lap (maximum of 2,000 entries). For golfers, the Pyxis works great as it displays the distance to the green in addition to your driving distance, along with detailed information on hazards like bunkers and waters. Sounds like the all comprehensive GPS watch to me. No idea on how much it costs though.

Asus G1S CRYSIS notebook

Asus G1S CRYSIS notebookCrysis is one game that has gotten gaming folks drooling all over the world due to its amazing graphics that will bring most computers out there to their knees with all the eye candy turned up to the max. Asus is up to the task, however, with a limited edition gaming notebook known as the G1S CRYSIS Special Edition. You get a GeForce 8600M GT Core graphics card inside - enough to run Crysis, but definitely not at full throttle. Other features include the ability to display incoming email, your schedule, MSN message notification and even remaining battery time via a separate window while you’re busy blowing things up in the game. There is no word on pricing as at press time. Food for thought - don’t you think gaming notebooks are pretty ironic? You’ll probably need to be tethered to a power outlet just like a desktop most of the time anyway.

LG Shines for AT&T Wireless

LG Shines for AT&T Wireless

AT&T Wireless has announced that the coveted LG Shine would be available for the holidays. If you’re not familiar with the device, it is a design phone with a 2.2” mirror-display (hence the name…), a camera and Bluetooth connectivity – nothing but standard features these days.

We’ve been fans of the LG Shine’s look last year, but right now, the LG Shine does not seem to generate so much buzz… that’s the downside of coming out so late. It would have been great – last year. $150 with a 2 years contract

Casio CW-E60 Disc Title Printer

Casio CW-E60 Disc Title PrinterThe Casio CW-E60 aims to replace your black marker when it comes to writing on your freshly burnt discs. After all, if you’re like me, you’re typing most of the time and your handwriting skills might have faded away. Having something actually legible for others to look at could be interesting. This printer can print text and images at 200 dpi. It uses ink (red, green, blue and black) from a ribbon and thermal transfer, so it should work on any CD. Cost: $60 for the printer and $25 for the ribbon.

Logan Solar bag by Noon

Logan Solar bag by Noon

We tend to be interested by anything that has a solar panel, and this is no exception: Noon has the Logan solar bag that has a large solar panel in the back. I wondered why they would put the panel in the back because I want to be able to charge it when I’m walking. You can revert the bag and wear it with the panel out, but then, you cannot open it. Apparently, the bag is designed to be left standing in the sun for a charge (see photo). Finally, it not only generates “green” power, it is also made with green materials. $412 at noonsolar.
