LG KS20 finally hits Europe LG’s KS20 smartphone is finally up for sale in most European countries, bringing 3.6Mbps HSDPA connectivity to folks living across the pond in a package that measures just 12.8mm thin. Other features include a 2.8″ touchscreen display, a 2 megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, and the Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system. Aircraft Mouse takes the cake

Aircraft Mouse takes the cake Now this is truly one of the most whacked-out mouse designs I have come across to date - the Aircraft Mouse. It looks ergonomically painful to your palm, since it still relies on a dated “jellybean” form factor, never mind the flashing blue and orange lights that will distract you from concentrating on your work. While the manufacturers probably intended for this to take off to the skies in terms of sales, I think it has crashed and burned instead.

Hovering shoes in the future?

Now how about that - hovering shoes could become the norm in the future. While hovering technology that shrinks down a device into a size that can fit a shoe does not exist just yet, a completed pair will probably look something like what you see in the video. I wonder what this thing will be powered by though - probably by the time hovering shoes become a reality, the world would’ve run out of oil and would probably go to war over water.

Panasonic AJ-HPX3000G camcorder

Panasonic AJ-HPX3000G camcorder At first glance, the shoulder-mounted Panasonic AJ-HPX3000G camcorder reminds one of Predator’s infamous cannon that is placed on the same body part. The AJ-HPX3000G camcorder, however, does not obliterate its targets, instead preserving them in full HD (1,920 x 1,080 resolution) images. In addition, you can pair the AJ-HPX3000G with a 32GB P2 card, providing you with approximately five hours of non-stop recording before you perform some data transfer. This will be the first camcorder to achieve native full HD in 4:2:2 and 10-bit without pre-filtering. This ain’t no home movie camcorder but one that targets the professionals. The AJ-HPX3000G will set you back by a whopping $48,000. More specifications are available after the jump.

Novaled makes strides with white OLED

Novaled makes strides with white OLED Novaled has successfully made large improvements where white OLEDs for lighting applications are concerned, achieving an efficiency of 35lm/W and a lifetime of 100,000h at a brightness level of 1,000 cd/sqm. Novaled relied on its proprietary Novaled PIN OLED technology and materials in order to achieve this breakthrough. Currently, the company is working on enhanced outcoupling solutions and large area devices. Their immediate target would be achieving 100 lm/W combined with a long lifetime - something all of us consumers can look forward to. After all, there are more and more portable devices that rely on OLED displays these days, not to mention HDTVs.

TV Weather Station

TV Weather Station The TV Weather Station helps notify you of the day’s weather forecast on a large screen (as large a TV as you can afford anyway) instead of traditionally tiny grey LCD displays. It is smart enough to provide you with a forecast after checking out the weather in the past 72 hours, analyzing up to 11 weather conditions and beaming such information to your TV screen wirelessly. The receiver that is hooked up to your TV has an operating range of almost 200 feet, so unless you live in a really huge mansion, it ought to be sufficient for most homes. The TV Weather Station retails for $129.95 a pop.

Laptop that targets newborns

Laptop that targets newborns So Junior can’t wait to grow up and follow dad to the office in a business suit? Fear not - this cute little laptop was especially designed just for babies, featuring a mirror that lights up while doubling as a viewing screen. Images that explore concepts such as ABCs, 123s, colors, shapes, and animals are displayed on the mirror itself. You can choose from half a dozen learning activities to get your little one started. At the rate of how early babies these days learn, I won’t be surprised if future babies who are still living in the safe and warm coccoon of a womb will be able to speak and communicate from within.

Transcend JetFlash V90 Classic

Transcend JetFlash V90 Classic The Transcend JetFlash V90 Classic keychain USB flash drive will add some bling to your corporate portfolio, boasting a distinctive metallic swirl pattern which attracts the eye whenever light catches it at different angles. It might look a wee bit too dainty for some folks, but you can be assured that the shiny metal casing offers some much needed protection for your valuable data within. The Transcend JetFlash V90 Classic measures 33.8mm x 13.1mm x 4.5mm and weighs a mere 7 grams. It will come in only one capacity - 2GB, but I would’ve preferred to see different capacities for different budgets. Still, you can pick this puppy up for $35 from Brando. If you can’t dazzle your colleagues with your cheap suit, at least this USB flash drive will.
