EQO launches new smartphone app

October 31st, 2007

EQO launches new smartphone app EQO Communications has just released a native Windows Mobile beta version of its mobile VoIP, text and IM application. This application will be free, enabling users to make super cheap phone calls with rates starting from $0.023 a minute. Not only that, it provides free access to various IM services such as MSN, AIM, Yahoo!, Google Talk, ICQ and Jabber. If you’re a Windows Mobile smartphone user at this moment, do you already have something like what EQO is offering? If not, will you jump on the bandwagon? I suppose corporations would love to have this installed on their employees’ smartphones. Any idea whether this is better than GIPS’ offering?
