Toshiba has new external storage gizmos
October 30th, 2007
Toshiba just launched a new line of backup solutions that come in a svelte 2.5″ form factor, carrying up to 250GB of data on-the-go. Toshiba claims these USB 2.0 portable external hard drives have the largest capacity in this form factor, and each drive has been shock-mounted to preserve data integrity in the event of an accidental bump or fall. Not only that the black aluminum case was specially designed to dissipate heat, while Toshiba’s very own NTI Shadow software makes backup a painless affair. It will come in 120GB, 160GB, 200GB and 250GB models that retail for $109.99, $139.99, $169.99 and $189.99 respectively.
