Alaska Airlines brings inflight WiFi
October 8th, 2007
Alaska Airlines already has plans to starttesting their new WiFi service on a Boeing 737 when spring rolls around, although that move is rather baffling. Are signals in the air much better in the spring? Why miss the crucial holiday season that could see passengers flock to your airline just because you offer WiFi service during a flight? Hopefully all goes well in the test, and the management had better include some sort of power outlet at each seat so that passengers in long haul flights would be able to finish downloading that torrent before reaching their destination.
