Zoom H2 stereo 4-channel recorder The Zoom H2 stereo 4-channel digital recorder is no ordinary voice recorder, as it features selectable recording quality ranging from 64 to 320 Kbps MP3, while those who want something that sounds better than CD quality can always settle for the 24 bit/96 KHz linear PCM (WAV files) recording. Features include four-channel, 360-degree surround recordings which can be made in 24-bit/48 kHz format courtesy of the H2’s two built-in microphones, integrated 3D panning function, mini-jack phone/line level output, external mic input, line level input and a USB port. It is powered by a couple of AA batteries and records onto the SD/SDHC memory card format. The Zoom H2 will retail for $200 and will definitely be a great addition to any student or budding musician.
