Sony launches DSLR-A700 camera
September 7th, 2007

Looks like the Sony DSLR-A700 is finally released, bringing advanced imaging technologies and an ultra-responsive operation to shutterbugs all over the world. The A700 features a lightweight, dust- and moisture-resistant, magnesium alloy body for added durability and features Sony’s very own Super SteadyShot Inside image stabilization for crisp snapshots even when you’re suffering from the shakes. It boasts a 12.2 Exmor CMOS sensor, the BIONZ processing engine for sharper images, 11 wide-area sensors, manual focusing, a dynamic range optimizer, as well as HDMI output for connection to HDTV sets among others. Storage of images is made possible via Memory Stick Duo and CF I/II cards. The DSLR-A700 will ship this October with prices varying depending on the type of lens it comes with.
