NASCAR dads who wish their tiny tots would grow up to share the love of this sport will definitely not hesitate to pick up the NASCAR Racecar Jimmie Johnson. It features a realistic NASCAR racecar design complete with all the customary decals, featuring a single pedal operation for easy navigation. There are two forward speeds to choose from - 2.5mph and double that amount as your little one zips around in your backyard. It can also reverse just in case the driver gets stuck in a tight jam after ploughing into mom’s rose bed. You won’t have environmentalists baying for your blood with this $220 purchase though as it is powered by a 12-volt battery.

The Dodecasub subwoofer looks like a mutated version of the 12-sided dice used in tabletop RPGs. This offering from Elemental Designs come with up to ten individual 10″ subwoofers that has been arranged in a rather strange yet striking manner. While there are a dozen sides to it, you only get 10 speakers since there are none at the top or bottom. Each speaker is capable of cranking out up to 600 watts of power, giving you a grand total of 6,000 eardrum splitting sound. Definitely one for the living room especially for those living in cramped spaces.

Who would have known that Toshiba would actually delve into the gaming arena with this keyboard? Well it isn’t a really keyboard in essence as you definitely won’t be able to type your documents with this one, but it caters more towards gamers. Looks like a pretty comprehensive solution to me for those who love FPS and RTS genres, although RPG fans would probably shun this as it would be pretty much impossible to send a message over to your friend in World of Warcraft with so many letters missing. It boasts a total of 55 keys in hold and is hooked to your PC via USB. There is currently no word on pricing and availability.

Hitachi has unleashed the DZ-BD70E Blu-ray camcorder at the recently concluded IFA 2007 event. What makes this special is the medium of storage - the 8cm Blu-ray disc which is capable of storing up to 5 times more information than a regular 8cm MiniDVD, which means you can have up to an hour of full HD (1920 x 1080) footage on a single disc. The recorded memories can then be played on any compatible Blu-ray player. Features include HDMI interface support and a 5.3 megapixel CMOS sensor that captures still images in 4.32 megapixel glory and 2.07 megapixel for video. No word on pricing or availability as at press time though. Image courtesy of Engadget.

For those who want to keep everything in its proper place, there is always the Card Managing Wallet that features creatively designed slots at the wallet base which ejects the labeled card, saving you the trouble of fumbling through your entire card collection. Too bad for those who own more than a single Visa or Mastercard - you’ll just have to insert the one with the highest credit limit lest you embarass yourself in front of your date at the glitziest restaurant in town when the bill arrives. The Card Managing Wallet retails for $39.99 and $59.99 for the half dozen and 12-card holder respectively.

And for all the wrong reasons, I might add. This Rocket Phone is a full fledged cellphone that comes complete with a decent color display, MP3 playback capability, a microSD memory card slot for expansion options, USB connectivity for data transfer and charging purposes, and a digital camera to capture candid shots wherever you are. Unfortunately, the design of this thing makes it look more like a child’s toy rather than a serious piece of equipment. I suppose if you want to humor your kid with a working cellphone, this could be an alternative but what happens when he realizes this Rocket Phone doesn’t match up to his friends’ RAZR2s and iPhones? Little Johnny will then be crushed - only an N95 will satisfy him then.

How many times have you felt like throwing that dastardly alarm clock out of the window for rousing you from your slumber? While the thought of doing so is extremely tempting, many of us don’t because replacing alarm clocks could add up in the long run. The Hand Grenade Alarm Clock, however, encourages you to do just that since it is pretty shock resistant - so feel free and let the rage burn first thing in the morning as you hurl it. Just remember not to aim outside of the window or letting it fly towards your unsuspecting roommate. Pricing of the Hand Grenade Alarm Clock is currently unavailable.
