Epson V500 Photo color scanner
August 24th, 2007
Epson has just launched the V500 Photo color scanner that will probably end up in the hands of advanced amateur shutterbugs. Priced at a reasonable $250, the V500 utilizes Epson’s ReadyScan LED technology that does away with the warm-up time and drastically reduces scanning time. The 6,400dpi scanner comes in handy, allowing you to increase the size of photos up to a massive 17″ x 22″ from film or standard prints. For those who want to preserve their negatives, the V500 scans these as well in slides and medium format. Each purchase will ship with Digital ICE and Epson Easy Photo Fix programs.
