Philips amBX peripherals for the PC

The Ambilight feature found on Philips flat panel displays will soon make an appearance on a computer game near you, providing various enhancements such as a rumbling wrist rest and surround speakers with integrated color synchronizing lights (up to 16 million colors), as well as fans that simulating virtually everything from a gentle sea breeze to an approaching helicopter. Thankfully it doesn’t do far should the next Beavis and Butthead game rolls around. Currently, only 5 games support the amBX hardware but Philips is offering the amBX gaming FXGenerator that lets you apply similar effects to current games (the number currently stands at 80 titles with more to come in the future).
