Interactive Graffiti Billboard

Graffiti is often seen as an anti-establishment form of art, but it is nice to see technology do away with that conception. Mark Echo is currently working in digital citylights that make up of a huge LCD display and a Bluetooth interface, enabling passerby’s to put in their $0.02 by “spraying graffiti” using a Bluetooth enabled cellphone. It currently looks set to be available in Germany, with no word on whether it will be a feature in other major cities throughout the world. Great for leaving public messages, but that’s assuming everyone plays nice. Will there be any sort of moderators around to make sure no racial or discriminatory slurs are “sprayed”?
