Microsoft renames Xbox 360 CoreThe much maligned Xbox 360 Core has just been given a new name, and will be repackaged as the Xbox 360 Arcade. Other than a change in naming convention, this new bundle will target casual gamers who find titles on Xbox Live Arcade appealing. Microsoft will through in a 256MB memory card with each purchase, along with five pre-loaded titles from the popular service. Among them include Pac-Man Championship Edition and Uno. The original wired controller will also be thrown out of the window, where a wireless version now takes its place. There is no word on when Xbox 360 Arcade will be launched, but if you were a casual gamer, would you choose this over the Wii?
