GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA ExpressCard

Option has unveiled the FCC-approved GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA ExpressCard, which means it will arrive on US shores not too long after. This card will be able to support 7.2Mbps maximum download speeds for today’s 3G class, HSDPA networks, but the difference in the naming convention lies in its superior upload speeds. According to Option, at it’s peak, this card can upload at 2Mbps compared to 384Kbps found on most HSDPA networks. There is no word on carriers picking up this card, although it is safe to assume that the GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA ExpressCard is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile networks.
