OneStation emulates classics on-the-go
August 6th, 2007
If you’re a sucker for classic gaming and love the good old days of 8-bit and 16-bit gaming, perhaps the OneStation pocket game emulator from China could fill this need. Priced between $30 to $40 each, these mini-consoles come with a 320 x 240 resolution color LCD display and closely resembles the Game Boy Micro form factor. Games are stored on cartridges, although the poor quality of translation has led to games being mislabeled as Hally Poter Goblet of Fire, Beanty and the Beast, Tom and Jirry, Ninja Tutles and Marblr Madness. Each cartridge retails between $5 to $6, but some of them are filled to the brim (fancy having 99 titles on a single cart?) and cost a little bit more. Fancy giving this a shot, or do you prefer to stick to your Game Boy Advance SP as the last true bastion of 2D gaming?
