Image Stabilizing Binoculars
August 3rd, 2007
Hammacher has made available its pair of Image Stabilizing Binoculars that have been touted to be the most powerful of its kind in the world. Features include a resolution of three angular seconds of stabilization and a special design that helps counter vibrations caused by moving air, land, or sea vehicles. It relies on a passive mechanical stabilizer to compensate for motion, unlike other offerings that sap up battery life. Fully multi-coated optics are used with this pair of binoculars, giving your crisp and clear images up to 1,000 yards away at 20x magnification. Each $1,699.95 purchase comes with its own flip-down lens covers, carrying case, and neck strap. Definitely not something the average Joe will pick up on an impulse.
