Canon iVIS HG10 goes HD

August 1st, 2007

Canon iVIS HG10 goes HDWhy wait for HD content to arrive at your doorstep when you can be pro-active and come up with your very own HD movies? Canon makes this possible with the iVIS HG10 video camcorder that captures everything it sees in HD glory (a resolution of 1,440 x 1,080). Since it comes with a built-in 40GB hard drive, you don’t have to worry about minor details such as swapping memory cards in the midst of an important event. 40GB ought to be able to net you up to 5 hours of continuous video in High Definition, but it remains to be seen whether the internal rechargeable battery will be able to withstand marathon video capture sessions.
