Philips WAK3300 alarm clock

Philips is very well known for its range of consumer electronics, but the alarm clock isn’t exactly their strongest forte. The WAK3300 is the company’s latest offering, and it can work as a standalone alarm clock as well as stream audio from your computer via WiFi or over an Ethernet network. It takes approximately 20 seconds to get the entire setup running, and looks a wee bit like the iPod’s standard layout for easier navigation for those familiar with Apple’s portable media player. This will probably be a niche buy for folks who are already pretty far ahead in the tech curve at home (WiFi and all), as it would be a waste of 89 quid if you get this for grandpa who uses it merely to wake up from his slumber every morning.
