Mosquito Repeller goes high-tech
July 19th, 2007
I suppose mosquitoes are somewhat like the Borg in Star Trek as well as the Phalanx in X-Men, as they tend to adapt to their surroundings much faster than any other lifeform around. Hence, Brando has the Mosquito Repeller at hand, complete with a frequency adjustment knob to keep those pesky bloodsucking creatures at bay. It emits ultrasonic sound which cannot be heard by humans and other animals, but proves irritating to mosquitoes in order to drive them away. Should they return after a while, change the frequency to throw them off balance yet again. It is powered by a couple of AG13 batteries and retails for $9 apiece.
