Coby sets sights on iPod Shuffle
July 19th, 2007
Coby is attempting to take a bite out of Apple’s pie with the MP-c852 Clip MP3 player. This tiny device has the 2G iPod Shuffle in its sights, and also plays the color game by coming in blue, red, pink, silver, and black colors. The included clip makes it hang onto your clothes naturally, and just like the Shuffle, it is compatible with both PC and Macs (minus iTunes support, of course). In addition to MP3 playback, the Coby MP-c852 goes one up by playing WMA files as well. At $24.99 a pop, three of these can get you just a single iPod Shuffle. Definitely food for thought the next time you go out MP3 shopping.
