iPhone gets PowerJolted
July 2nd, 2007
Barely a week into the iPhone’s release and Griffin has already unveiled the PowerJolt Car Charger for it, making it the inaugural accessory for the iPhone from Griffin. The PowerJolt is plugged into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter or accessory power socket on one end, while the other is connected to the iPhone in order to charge the device. When your iPhone is fully juiced up, the charge indicator will glow gree, while amber shows otherwise. Don’t worry about power surges since it comes with an automotive fuse to guard against such unexpected disasters. If you already own an iPod that uses a full-size dock connector, you’ll be pleased to know that this $20 accessory is backwards compatible with those as well.
