Parking your vehicle is a tricky process, and there are still some people who fail to position their vehicles in the designated parking spot without nicking the car in front or behind of them. The Park N Place Garage Parking Aid comes in handy as it helps prevents those scratches, especially when you’re navigating through a messy garage. Whenever the car’s bumper contacts the flexible fiberglass pole, the sign will flash to signal that you’ve moved into the ideal parking position. Just don’t let your friends and neighbors check out your garage the next time they drop by, lest you be the butt of all their future driver jokes. The Park N Place Garage Parking Aid retails for $19.98.

Etri of Korea unveiled its Kobie emotional robot pet at the recently concluded SEK 2007. It looks more like a koala than anything else, and I suppose it comes with all the necessary sensors in the right places to respond to strokes, loving coos, and cheek pinches accordingly. The only thing I don’t like is the inhumane charging method - just take a look at the pic. I know I won’t be too pleased having a power plug shoved up my nostrils, but hey - robots have no emotion or feelings right? It would’ve been a hoot to see a butt plug utilizes instead.

The Boston Acoustics DSi455T2 takes the opposite route of the adage “kids should be seen and not heard” as it hides inside the ceiling, making them practically invisible to the untrained eye while pumping out great audio. It comes with a shallow mounting depth of just 10.8cm, making it ideal to be mounted into British ceilings without interfering with other stuff up there. Each DSi455T2 comes with a couple of silk dome tweeters and a dual voice core woofer. Its white finish is surrounded by a paintable surface to match whatever color your ceiling is. Of course, this is the discreet route while others prefer to show off their audio system with huge speakers that can blow a skirt off with a single guitar riff.

Ok so this is not exactly a box per se, but it is still a coin box that comes in a round (bomb) form factor. The wick is not real but contains an LED instead. It gets lighted whenever you try to remove money from it. Should you persist in getting your fair share of nickels and times from inside, it will start vibrating and making noises until it erupts, scattering all your hard earned cash throughout the room, leaving you scampering about on all fours while you recover enough to cash in for a night out with that hot date. Takara Tomy is offering this unique Bomb coin box for approximately $25 when it is released in Japan this October 26th.

A Porsche that does not rev? Now that’s something new. The Eton Porsche Design radio was forged from metal with precision knurled knobs and handles, making it one sturdy unit thanks to its cast aluminum housing and crank handle that underwent some machine bolt treatment. Features include AM and FM/Shortwave aerial antenna, an ultra bright dual white LED flashlight, a built-in dynamo cellphone charger, and an emergency siren. For an emergency device that bears the Porsche name, the $199.95 price tag doesn’t come across as expensive. At least it looks really sweet and sturdy when compared to those flimsy-looking plastic emergency torchlight/radio/chargers. If you don’t feel like getting some hand crank action, there is always an AC adapter or three AA batteries to power it.

While you can’t exactly play the Wii with this wireless Z-motion controller, it does pretty much the same thing albeit on a computer platform. The Z-motion works as a 3D mouse, virtual keyboard, laser pointer, spotlight, and highligther. I wonder whether it requires a sensor bar like the Wii to work, or does if fuction purely on radio waves? If it is the latter, how does it detect the space/dimension that it’s in? Those’re questions best left to engineers - as an end user, the Z-motion is pretty much king when it comes to the ultimate presentation tool.

I suppose any company will always look out for opportunities to milk the faithful for more money, and Ferrari has certainly done so by teaming up with Willian Optics to design the Ferrari Visio 8×25 binoculars. It is made from a real carbon fiber plate that is used in the F1 car itself, making it extremely lightweight at 290 grams. Of course, what’s an official Ferrari product without the Prancing Horse logo? This pair of binoculars are also ergonomic, providing up to 8x magnification via its multi-coated lenses. Its waterproof nature makes it useful whether rain or shine. You can now attend the next F1 race and cheer Ferrari onwards with even more official regalia. The Ferrari Vision 8×25 binoculars cost $199 a pop.
