Ruggedbook UMPC does GPS as well

Just when you thought UMPCs were nothing more than tiny versions of their notebook brethren, the Ruggedbook comes along. This tough nut of an UMPC does not only perform all the other standard stuff that UMPCs do, it also features GPS capability if you slot in a GPS module via the PCMCIA slot. I know, I had the same bewildered look as well - who makes PCMCIA GPS receivers these days anyway? What you have out there are most probably legacy devices by now, so support is going to be an issue. Other specifications of the Ruggedbook ain’t too shappy, featuring a 7″ TFT LCD touchscreen display at 800 x 480 resolution, a 1.3GHz Via processor, 512MB RAM, a built-in CF card with the option to throw in a 1.8″ hard drive, WiFi connectivity, a CMOS camera, and an SD/MMC memory card slot, all running on Windows XP. No word on pricing though.
