Day System dual-function display
May 29th, 2007
For newlyweds who are trying to make ends meet in a crammed apartment will have a hard time deciding on the essential home appliances and furniture. Granted, the bedroom and living room will definitely get the bulk of attention, so choosing between a TV and a monitor (especially if either party is a geek) could be a difficult choice. Day System hopes to quell your pre-marital jitters with the 23″ widescreen DAY232TP LCD display which can be used as either a monitor or a TV, thanks to the WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution, a contrast ratio of 600 to 1, a brightness level of 300cd, and 12ms response speed (which is lousy for action movies and games). Pretty neat - too bad it ain’t wide enough to support both TV and computer output comfortably. The DAY232TP looks set to be a Korea only device.
