NTT DoCoMo unveils SIMPURE L2

NTT DoCoMo unveils SIMPURE L2 NTT DoCoMo has just lifted the curtain on its 3G FOMA SIMPURE L2 cellphone for users who do not want to be hassled by complicated functions. Developed as a collaboration between LG and designer Gwenael Nicolas, the SIMPURE L2 is a slider handset that works with DoCoMo’s WorldWing roaming service as well as W-CDMA, GSM and GPRS networks. The SIMPURE L2 will see a July release, with no word on pricing as at press time. Looks pretty much plain to me in its black shade, but I guess the uppity business suits would love a minimalist concept such as this while packing 3G power. What about you? Flashy or simple?
