Experience all-round cooling with the 360 Degree Tabletop Fan. With three speeds to choose from and full air flow in every direction, you no longer need to fight with your room mate over a single fan. Air is drawn from above and below into the raised fan sphere as the blades rotate to create blasts of fresh air in every direction of the room. It generates only gentle breezes and won’t cause papers lying on your desk to start having a life of its own. Unfortunately, the $239 price tag will probably leave you sweating nightmares as you toss and turn in your bed trying to figure out how to explain to your parents that you’ve taken this month’s college allowance to pick up the 360 Degree Tabletop Fan instead of using the money to pay for your books.

Hitachi touts that their Travelstar 7K200 notebook hard drive is the fastest notebook drive with encryption technology in the world. Available in 200GB capacity, the Travelstar 7K200 spins at 7,200 rpm as opposed to the more popular but slower 5,400 rpm found in notebook drives. The 2.5″ form factor also makes it a viable alternative for notebooks to carry up to 400GB of space via RAID arrays. Despite spinning at a much faster rate, Hitachi claims the Travelstar 7K200 consumes just about the same power as current 5,400 rpm models while emitting the same levels of heat and noise. New Dell and Alienware notebooks will carry this new hard drive.

No, Jenga has not been ported over to the Nintendo DS just yet, but it has undergone multiple treatments in the Incredible Shrinking Machine to recreate the Petit Jenga. This is a complete miniature Jenga set that comes with a tiny “prodder” that helps you remove those blocks with accuracy and precision as your fingers will be just too large to be of any use. I suppose you could also replace the “prodder” with a stylus from your DS or smartphone. Petit Jenga retails for approximately $4.20 after conversion and ships with its own transparent plastic carry case that can be attached to a bunch of keys or belt loop for Jenga-obsessed enthusiasts.

The Eyebox2 is a device that is capable of tracking whoever is looking at it within a 10 meter radius, thanks to the 1.3 megapixel camera and a vast array of infrared LEDs. When used with a mechanical billboard, the advertisements you see cater to your profile, making it more effective for both the consumer and the advertisers in a win-win situation. I’m still not sure what happens when you have more than a single pair of eyes looking at the Eyebox2 though, how will it make a decision then? Practically, it can be used now to track which advertisements get the most eye traffic, enabling advertisers to tweak their future efforts.

iRiver has recently unveiled a second generation Clix cradle that looks positively sweet. This ultra-modern design won’t get outdated anytime soon, but it remains to be seen whether it will look appealing decades from now. Nevertheless, the Clix Cradle doubles up as a dock as well, with the integrated speaker pumping out your favorite tunes. The entire cradle can be forced to lie down horizontally or vertically, depending on your preference. Koreans will be the first to receive the Clix Cradle for approximately $32.

Here’s an example of one of the coolest things ever. A giant ass flat screen tv that automatically slides out from under your bed. It’s level of awesome is surpassed on by the level of suck that is the room in this video. So unworthy.

No, this Phone Flasher is no cause for panic or alarm as it is actually a range of leather and crystal charms that can be clipped to the outside of your purse, lighting up only whenever you receive an incoming phone call or text message. This is pretty neat, since you can’t really feel the phone vibrate when it is buried under a bunch of tissue packs, lipsticks, mirrors, and other items inside a handbag. Alternatively, you can always wear a Bluetooth headset, but for those who feel uncomfortable wearing one, the $15.95 Phone Flasher is the perfect remedy.

The Laser Clock comes with a keychain fob while featuring a combination of LCD and laser technology which projects the current time onto virtually all surfaces, somewhat like how the Batman signal is projected across Gotham City during dire times. Other than the novelty factor, there isn’t much to be said for the Laser Clock. I mean, don’t you already own a watch and a cellphone that tells you the time as it is? Why pick up yet another gadget that does the same thing, unless you realize that you do not yet own a keychain until today? The Laser Clock retails for $29. I wonder how the battery life is like…
